The cost of beauty

Nicky Taylor spent almost $4,000 a year on beauty products and still felt disgusted with herself, so she did what anyone in her situation would do. Okay, maybe not. She went cold-turkey on beauty products for six weeks by not bathing, showering or brushing her teeth.

After the experiment she was told her teeth would eventually fall out, but her skin was brighter and more radiant than ever, a cyst on her eye went away and she no longer suffers from IBS.

  1. Seems rather extreme. I bet she could have gotten the same results by cutting out everything except bathing and dental hygiene. Not bathing is just disgusting.

  2. I agree, cutting out the dental hygiene was foolish, and she could have at least bathed without soap instead of cutting it altogether.

  3. Who spends $4000 on beauty products for themselves? That alone tells us she’s not sane.

  4. I admit it’s quite high, but have you ever looked at the prices for shampoo or gel at your local hair stylist? It’s outrageous!
