stats of the web

I’ve been looking for a good way to estimate what percentages of different browsers are used nowadays. I found the counter and it provides a general idea. Certainly not a scientific survey, but good enough to get a decent idea. It should be noted though that browsers with small percentages still deserve fair treatment when testing. That may be the only way visitors can see your web site, so it’s worth your time to make sure you like how it looks first.

  1. It’s always nice to find sites that work with lynx where the text isn’t 3 pages down, due to frames and such. Good point to keep in mind.
