Have you ever found yourself on a site, wondering how you got there?
Every once in a while, one of the sites I open is outdated or was an invalid link, or I forget what the purpose was when I clicked on the link. In order to figure out what happened, I want to know what page got me there. But if the link was opened into a new tab in the background, the tab doesn’t have a history.
This bookmarklet solves the problem. It opens a new window to the referrer (if there is one), which is the site that referred you to the current site.
To install it, drag the link to your bookmarks toolbar, then click it next time you’re lost.
