Watch TED Talks in High Definition

While reading this reddit post about Mikko Hypponen’s TED talk, I concluded that some users either had incredible visual acuity or they were watching the video at a higher resolution than me. Then Mikko posted a comment recommending we watch it in HD. I looked around for a link to the high res version for future reference, but couldn’t find one. Turns out it’s hidden behind the “Download” button (under “Watch high-res video (MP4)”).

But I’ve made it even easier than that. I wrote a bookmarklet (it doesn’t work in Internet Explorer) to do it in one click. Just drag the following link to your bookmarks toolbar and use it when you’re on a TED talk page: Ted in HD
