Wordnik recently acquired wordie, where I’ve kept words I want to become more familiar with for the past few years. The process to add a word to my list took too long so I wrote this bookmarklet to add a word. You need to be logged in to Wordnik, then select a word and hit the bookmarklet. It will pop open a window with your lists. Select the list then click the Go button to add the word.

To “install” it, drag the link to your bookmark toolbar.
Huh – I saw you RT’d by a grammar/editor guy I follow on twitter, RTing @wordie and someone else, and just happened upon your twitter name, which I thought was pretty cool! This post has apparently gotten some legs in the grammar/word community — congrats! :)
