Christmas cartoons

When I was younger we used to watch several Disney animated shorts during the Christmas break, including Mickey’s Christmas carol, Donald Duck’s Christmas, one with Pluto and Chip and Dale, and Goofy in the art of skiing. We were looking for them at the library without much luck, but then I looked on YouTube and found them all.

I also found Frosty the Snowman in three separate parts. The only one I haven’t found yet is the original version of Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer and the land of misfits. I loved the gold digger, especially when he tossed up his ice pick, then picked it up and licked it to check for gold.

Update: Drat. I hadn’t tried watching the Pluto’s Christmas Tree all the way through until just now, and realized that it’s cut short. I haven’t found another one (yet).

  2. I’ve been looking for the same thing on DVD. From what I remember it was on TV when I was a kid and it was all together. It was Goofy Skiing, Mickey and Pluto get attacked by Chip and Dale, Donald Duck vs. Huey, Duey, and Luey in a snow/ice fight and finishing off with Mickey’s Christmas Carol.

  3. @Jared That’s exactly what I remember. I would imagine they’re available on DVD, somewhere.
