geography quiz

My United States geography skills could use some work according to this fun little place the state site. You just drag states into place and it tells you how far off you are. My average error was 87 miles. William’s was only 26 miles.

  1. My error was 10 miles, but that was on my second round. My first didn’t give me a score, but was probably a little better – I got easy states first.

  2. Wow, that’s impressive. I must have gotten extremely difficult states. Even the last one!

  3. My average was 34 miles. It definitely depends what you are given to start with.

  4. It didn’t display my errors, which probably means they don’t have a number that high yet. I realize now that I know absolute squat about our Atlantic seaboard and Eastern states. Does it give you the states at random, or in the same order every time?

  5. Meredith: Very true. If you get one and you’re way off, it’s hard to work the error down.

Jason: Hah! I believe it’s a random order every time, so maybe you could try again and get Montana or Utah ;)
