We’re only halfway through the year, but PC World has already assembled a list of the 100 Best Products of 2005. Maybe they’ve decided that nothing else will be coming out in the next six months that will be worthy of their list. Whatever the deal is, here’s what I have to say about it.
I use number one (Firefox) and two (Gmail) daily, as well as 16 (Google), but calling Google a product is a bit of a stretch. I also use number 30 (Vonage) and our dear and beloved friend, number 88, Opera 8.
It seems the majority of the items are tech gadgets like cell phones, digital cameras and the like, with a few software packages and add-ons mixed in for flavor.
If you have some extra time, it’s probably worth perusing the list for hidden treasures. You never know when you might discover something you can’t live without.
