I saw this a while ago, but if you’re ever locked out of your house or car, knowing how to pick a lock could be very useful. You can also take a look at Lock picking 101.
The first time I saw the MIT guide was way back in 1994…I was using Mosaic in a lab at Dixie College and only had a faint understanding of what the internet was.
I’ve always wanted to try my hand at lock picking, but have never got around to getting the tools. I actually made a torque wrench from a bike spoke, but never made a pick. That would be one of those cool talents to have, but I’m not sure what the legal situation is in Utah. ;^)
