$13.86

I just got my check for $13.86 from the CD MAP Antitrust Litigation. I had read that the checks were in the mail, but this time they were telling the truth.

I’m one of 3 million people who is getting a check, so even though a little shy of $14 doesn’t seem like much, it adds up. Serves’em right for price fixing.

  1. Woo, I got mine too! It’s enough to buy another CD, that’s good enough for me.

  2. Check for CD Lawsuit
It’s not much, but it’s more than I expected – I figured too many people would register and nobody would get anything.

  3. I heard recently that Tower is on the brink of going under. I would imagine that this is the final straw. BTW, I didn’t get one. Why didn’t I know about this? Who’s in charge here?

  4. I found a cool website that focuses on independent artists and not the mainstream record companies. It has music from all genres. it is http://cdbaby.com and so far I have found a lot of good stuff I might not otherwise have found and the money goes to the artist not to a record company.
