Segway has some competition from Bombardier‘s new invention, the Embrio. It’s kind of like a motorcycle, but uses gyroscopes to balance the one-wheeled device, made to look like a vehicle from 2025. Right now it’s just a prototype, but if market demand is sufficient, it may be mass-produced.
Yuck. That thing is so ugly. I can’t imagine how one would ride it without falling off.
Pretty cool. I don’t know that I would try it, but it looks interesting.
Contrary to what Mel thinks, I think, along with the author, that it’s kind of stylish, moreso than the “nerdy” Segway. But, if it’s priced close to the Segway, there’s no way I’m getting one.

I think it’s pretty sick looking, but not in Mel sick/yuck looking way. Although I think I’d look pretty stupid on it. It has that “big man riding a little donkey” look to it.
