ergonomic desktop

If you work at a computer all day, ergonomics can be very important. My wrist was a tad sore recently, so I did some research and found Cornell’s Ergonomics guide. It outlines ten ways to arrange your workstation and to avoid discomforts that computer users often suffer. It’s well worth the read.

  1. I always thought that the correct sitting posture was at 90 degrees. Now I’ve got to find a way to change my desk chair.

Also, I can’t believe that some of those ergo products really aren’t ergo. It’s something to think about next time I’m in Office Depot and I’m tempted to buy the more expensive ergo product. Great link.

  2. I used to think I had to sit straight up to be ergonomically correct too, but a reclined posture makes much more sense. It’s more comfortable that way.

I’m glad you liked the link.
