I examined each picture very carefully. I didn’t look for any specific things, I looked for any sign of possible falsehood. So my method isn’t scientific like yours, but hey, we got the same score Dan.

The task is to determine which of the ten images is a photograph of a real object, and which of the images was entirely computer-generated.
i really can say i didnt find it all that hard. fake textures are very easy to tell, the dust on the chess pieces gave them away, when nails bend they hav sections right on the bend that would b hard to generate, the table and deck just looks real etc etc etc the hardest part was the globe on grass – the backing looks like watercolour
10/10 and 4/4…hehehehe mayb i just spend 2 much time on the computer
Ha, nine out of ten. I guessed big time though. The only one I was certain of was the chess board. The dust gave it away.
I got 8 out of 10. Some of them are really hard to tell. They did a good job.
My method was to look at the texture of the item because generated images tend to have too much smoothing. It is getting harder to tell though.

I got 80% too — missed on the chess pieces and the nails.
I missed on the strewn nails and the grass.
The bonus quiz has four more, but I only got two right.
I got 4 out of 4 on the bonus. Har har!
I suspect these would be easier to guess with high-resolution images, but the rendered images are still very impressive.

9 out of 10 on the initial and 1 out of 4 on the bonus. I guess my method wasn’t very repeatable.
Don’t feel bad, Renee – I got 5 out of 10. I don’t know how they’re doing it!
