The Salt Lake blog meetup was fun, except that I work with all the people who attended. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy spending time with them, but I could have just as easily had the meeting at my place. The purpose of a meetup, in my mind, is to meet new bloggers in the area, and that didn’t happen. Unless I see a lot more people signed up, I don’t see the point of attending anymore meetups.
On a positive note, I got to take a close look at a black Nissan 350Z. It’s a sleek looking car and the dark tinted windows made it look even better. I’m not sure if they come tinted from the factory, but it made a big difference. After seeing the Z, I’m looking forward to attending the Auto Expo in Sandy this Friday. After all, what better way could you spend a Friday night?
I, being one of the three attendees, was pretty dissappointed in the blogger meeting. Unless something changes in the amount of people that _actually_ show vs. how many sign up, I doubt that I’ll go again.
hey dan- great site. i’ve really enjoyed browsing through it. the amount of content on your site is quite impressive. and, as a believer in simple design, it was easy to navigate around. as a fellow car guy, i’m sure you’d be interested to know what i drive (subaru wrx).

Thanks. I test drove a WRX and at the time I was driving a 300ZX Twin Turbo, so it felt a little slow, but had great handling and reasonable acceleration.
OK yes I am on the damn blog meetup thingama and yes I never go. Why? I have a bad memory. How lame is that?
That’s pretty lame, Clint. Especially considering how many email reminders they send out! ;)
