I’m going on a road trip to Colorado Springs with a friend of mine, leaving Friday morning and staying until Sunday. I’m looking forward to some good conversation and a welcome break from work. We might even go up Pikes Peak, where Katharine Lee Bates was inspired to pen the lines to her most famous poem, “America the Beautiful.”
