brain boost
A new search engine called Brain Boost is different than other search engines. It’s designed to answer any question you ask and not only provide a link, but extract the answer from the web site and give you an answer to your question. I haven’t tested it extensively, but of the questions I asked, it got most of them right or at least provided a link to the answer.
You’re supposed to be able to ask it anything, so if you have any questions you’ve been dying to ask, give it a try. I’m curious to hear how it works.

I wasn’t impressed. I tried it out quickly. First: It was _really_ slow. It took forever to return any results. Perhaps it’s getting pounded due to all the traffic Dan’s blog can generate ;)
Second: Consider the following: “How do birds fly?”. It returned lots of answers, but only one was correct. All other items were just song names or artist works. Google’s top 10 results, on the other hand, returned the answer to the question.
I’ve been curious about Hyrum Smith’s birthday, and asked Brain Boost, “What is Hyrum Smith’s birthday?” and got two answers/links — and the second one appears to be correct (February 13). I’ll try to think of and ask some more questions, but so far, so good.
Still lacking — I asked it who I was going to marry and it just gave a definition of marriage.
Jason: You’re right on that one. Google did a much better job.
DavidH: I’ve found that it does a very good job with historical questions.
Now now Cameron, it’s supposed to answer questions, not predict the future.
It’s okay, I enjoy google much more.
It also tells you when there is no answer i tried to find out about soufism and it couldnt find an answer
