If you’re looking for a cheaper MP3 player than the e200 series I reviewed yesterday, here’s one my wife owns that I like. It’s also from SanDisk, and is called the SanDisk Sansa M240 1GB MP3 Player. It’s ideal for using while exercising because it’s small, comes with a protective case and an arm band (as well as headphones). For features, it has an FM tuner, long battery life (uses one AAA battery) and supports playlists.
Again, it doesn’t have all the features of the e250 like photos, videos and the like, but for a simple, inexpensive MP3 player, it’s a good deal.
I have been using these for about two years now. It is my subjective opinion that the 512 model is of better construction and design. The FM is better, use for eaudio books is better. Bookmarking failed on the 1 Gig model which is useless for audio books. I bought two of the 512 models, one for my wife and one for me. Both work superbly.
