I had a hankering to do some programming one evening and read
this MetaTalk
thread. It seemed like an entertaining project, so I wrote the code
to calculate the
Metafilter Contribution Index.
It works by querying the user page on MeFi to gather the data.
contribution index - Shows how often users hit the post button
top lists - The most verbose Mefi users
