I have always liked to admire sports cars and enjoy test driving them when I get a chance. I never really thought I'd get to own one, but now that I have I think I've gotten the need for speed out of my system so I won't have to drool every time I pass a new sports car, well maybe I still will but I won't have to go out and buy one. They're lots of fun, but not very practical, so I'm glad that I had a a chance to own one.

I owned a 1991 Nissan 300ZX and I really enjoyed driving it. The reason I got rid of it was because it was not very practical. Whenever I had to take in in for repairs it cost around $500+ and it got around 18 miles to the gallon. It only had two seats which made it very hard to do anything useful with it (although it was good for dates). The T-tops were really nice, but after a while they got to be a hassle because I had to open the trunk, unfasten the tops, strap them down in the back and shut the trunk. I guess I'm just lazy.
I became obsessed with the Acura NSX after sitting in it at the Exotic Imports dealer in Sandy, UT. I test drove a black one and was very interested in buying it. It was extremely fast and handled really well. The reason I didn't buy it was because of the money it would have cost me. I bought one for 3 days from a dealer in Arizona, but then decided against it since it would have put me in a very large amount of debt. I collected pictures of the car when I was thinking about buying it and figured I might as well make them available to everyone.
I bought this in September 2000 and have been very pleased with it. It is extremely reliable and gets about 27mpg so it's fairly practical. It still has a sporty side to it with the 3.0 liter V-6. I really like the sunroof to open up the inside a bit and the subwoofer fills out the low end sound sufficently.
