Disable the snap preview

Sites like techcrunch (among many others) have introduced an annoyance that I find exceedingly . . . annoying.

Fortunately for me (and anyone else who is similarly annoyed), you have but to click this magical link. It will set a cookie to disable snap preview on every web site that uses it.

Update: I should have posted this originally, but for those of you who haven’t been afflicted by the snap preview, it’s a popup window with a thumbnail of the site that appears when you mouse over an external link.

  2. Hmm, I’m not sure what the snap preview is that you’re talking about. I don’t see anything different or annoying.
