return to blogging
As you may have noticed, I didn’t end up posting much last semester, and while I missed it, I wasn’t sure I would have much time to do much (if any) blogging this semester either. Then I attended the first day of my Ethics and Computers In Society class, and things changed.
You see, one of our assignments is to write a blog entry. We don’t have to run a blog, so the assignment is essentially to write one well-written paragraph in response to assigned readings related to a given topic, much as you would if you had a blog. However, the professor offered extra credit to anyone that posts their assignments on a real live blog. So, not only will I be posting at least a few blog entries this semester, I’ll get extra credit for doing it. And who knows, once I begin posting my writing assignments from class, I may get back into the swing of things and post a few of my own for the pure joy of it all.
Good to ‘hear’ from you, even if for just a moment.
Nice to hear from you, Dan.
Great to hear!
By the by, that Ethics and Computers in Society course sounds might interesting.
So let me get this straight. You’re going to post blog entries about homework assignments? Woo-hoo! Let the interesting reading begin. If you couldn’t tell, I was being sar-r-r-rcastic.
;-)
Ooh, getting XC for blogging, real nice! :)
Thanks for the comments guys.
Jason: I won’t be posting blog entries about homework assignments, I’m posting blog entries that I was assigned to write. Granted, they still might not be all that interesting, but I agree with Kevin, the class seems like it’s going to be interesting.
I think this will be great! :-) Glad you’re back!
