It doesn’t seem possible, but yesterday was our one-year wedding anniversary. The time has flown by.
To celebrate, we stayed in Las Vegas, spending the night on the 17th floor of the Stratosphere Hotel. We had dinner at the House of Blues (here’s a virtual tour) in Mandalay Bay, then walked along the strip and watched the water show at the Fountains at Bellagio (we saw the #10 song, Con Te Partiro).
While walking down the strip we saw Ferrari’s for rent, but we didn’t have the time. I must say that driving a Ferrari would create one memorable day (at least for me), and at $500 for 5 hours, there would be a memorable dent in the wallet as well.
Yikes! I didn’t realize they were that expensive to rent. I’m planning on renting something cool – convertible, RV, whatever – when I turn 25 and can rent from anybody. I didn’t know it might cost a lot, though! Congratulations on your one-year anniversary. :)
Congrats on the anniversary. Jeani & I just got back from our first trip to Vegas – a needed break for the both of us.
The time definitely flies by… I won’t even mention how long the two of us have been married. ;)
Congratulations Dan! Things are hummin’ right along for you two.
Good deal on reaching the one year mark, unfortunatly today most do not even get to this point. For the record I have been married 12 years now. Too bad the wife could not fargo a gift in exchange for the ride . . .would have been sweet
