Daniel A. Hersam's Personal Homepage
Personal Information:
Hi, I'm Dan Hersam, I was born in NH and call Exeter, NH home. I'm a Computer Science
major in my second year, and I love the Computer Science program at BYU. I served a mission
to Madrid Spain for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, also known as the
Mormons, from July 1995 to July 1997. I've always loved computers, and even programmed a
slightly animated basketball game, as well as minesweeper and a text-only tennis game on the
TI-85. Dan's brother, David, is on a mission in the Brussells Belgium Mission and will be
returning from Dunkerque, France at the end of May. He is looking forward to seeing his
brother for a short while before going on his own mission. Dan is a first tenor in Men's Chorus
and loves to play the piano. Dan is an avid fan of singer/songwriters such as Marc Cohn, Phil
Collins, David Wilcox, Joshua Kadison, as well as Billy Joel and Elton John.
Interests:
I've always had an interest in computers, and I love to sit at the terminal for hours. I'm an active
Numismatist (coin collector), and would love to talk to any fellow coin collectors on the net. I can
often be found looking at the rec.collecting.coins newsgroup and am a member of the ANA. I
love New England and anything having to do with New Hampshire. Sports interests include all
kinds, but especially tennis, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and cycling, and I enjoy spending
many hours "surfing" on the net.
