I often find that I have a hard time remembering how to do certain things if I don't do them enough, so I've put together a collection of the commands, configurations, and anything else that I like to have written down somewhere in case I forget.
acroread - Adobe Acrobat Reader, for reading PDFs
firefox - Mozilla Firefox, an excellent web browser
java - Java, the programming language
linux - Linux, a fantastic operating system
mysql - MySQL, the database
perl - Perl (Practical Extraction and Reporting Language), the programming language
rpm - RPMs (Red Hat Package Manager), packages used in Linux distributions
shell - Shell (Mostly Bash), command shell used in Unix and Linux
vim - Vim (vi Improved), an excellent text editor
win - Windows, a popular operating system
