How much TV do you watch?

According to the Economist, the average American household watches over 8 hours of TV.

TV watching by country

This is one area where we don’t want to be #1.

  1. How sad. I’ve seen a lot of people with no money to waste refuse to give up their cable. On the other hand, we don’t even have a TV at the moment and have had multiple cable salesmen literally fail to comprehend that.

  2. It is sad, especially when people are paying $100 or more for their premium cable when they really can’t afford it.

We got rid of cable a few years ago and I don’t miss it.

  3. That’s exactly why I cut my kids off at 7.5 hours. I don’t want to be part of the problem!

  4. Now that’s what I like to see. But why so extreme? 7:59 would have been adequate.
