I just got a beta invite to RedLasso, which allows you to pick and choose clips from all sorts of TV networks. It includes Comedy Central, NPR, Bloomberg, CNN and a host of others. Instead of just writing about a news event, it’s a lot nicer to be able to show your users a clip of actual broadcast news that’s related to your blog post.

This is a useful service to bloggers that I expect to catch on big time as it’s rolled out. I don’t see a way to send out invites to anyone yet, but you can request an invite on the site.
