I’ve listened to this Silly Song With Larry several times and I can’t seem to get it out of my head. It sounds familiar but I haven’t figured out if there’s an original. There may not be an original, but so far I’ve found that it shares some similarities with Last Kiss, originally written by Wayne Cochran and made even more popular by Pearl Jam.
Some of the comments on the YouTube video suggested it was a parody of Johnny Angel or Teen Angel, but neither of those sound anything like Pizza Angel. It’s possible I’m looking for something that doesn’t exist, but I still think there’s a song out there that sounds like this one. If you know what it is, or have any guesses, please let me know in the comments.
