I’ve read several books whose front covers said that millions of copies had been sold. Some that come to mind are “How to Win Friends and Influence People”, “Man’s Search for Meaning” and “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.” I didn’t know how many books were in that category, or which ones continue to sell in high numbers (I guessed the Bible would be near the top).

I was surprised to see Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code at #10 because it was published so recently. That’s incredible. A few other notables are The Book of Mormon at #7, The Lord of the Rings trilogy at #8, The Catcher in the Rye at #11, The Little Prince at #14 (I had to read that in my high school French class) and Wayne Dyer’s Your Erroneous Zones at #22. That was listed as being published in 1876 and the link to Wayne Dyer’s wikipedia page was broken, so I fixed the date (1976) and the link. You’ve gotta love wikis.
