I am not sure this is so much a game but rather an activity but what about sit N spin. I remember some good times with the sit N spin.

I remember it becoming rather painful after a while, so the rubber band devices were perfect. Plus you could use them to launch things at your brother’s forehead.

Yeah, that part (finger, stick, or rubberband thingy) had me confused. From what I can tell, using your fingers is the accepted method by the Carrom World Cup Organization, whatever that means.

jason: Sweet monkeys in Asia! I had no idea Prince Charles played Carrom. However, we didn’t play with the little sticks. We had green plastic thingies that had a rubber band across the front of them that we used to shoot. We also just used our fingers to flick the circular pieces across the board.

You could add the hungry hippo game to your son’s Christmas list; that’d be a sneaky way of getting it without being embarrassed that you want a kids’ game.
