I’m surprised there aren’t multiple cars from different years, given that the top three are extremely popular cars. I also wonder if they took the popularity of the vehicles into account. I’m curious to know more about the details of how they arrived at that list.

A quick search for a list of the 10 most popular cars is similar enough that I’m inclined to believe they didn’t account for car popularity.
