When I was a missionary in Guatemala, some locals taught me the “hypnotize a chicken” trick. I don’t recall the chicken lying there for 10-15 minutes as the article reports … but it would sit still there on the ground for a minute or two.
That’s cool. If I had chickens, I would definitely try that. The explanation said 15 seconds to 30 minutes, so a minute or two is well within their range.
