I’ve never thought about how to address an alien, since I don’t expect to have that need anytime soon. However, I now know the correct salutation: Gnorts.

Why Gnorts?

Because of Neil Armstrong, which isn’t his real name of course. It’s a code for how to address an alien. Read backwards, Neil Armstrong is ‘Gnorts Mr. Alien.’
