If you have an old cell phone you want to get rid of and don’t want the hassle of selling it on eBay, you may want to try OldCellPhone.com.
I compared the prices they’ll pay with what you’re likely to get on Ebay for the same phone and with the phones I looked at, on average you would get a little more money on Ebay ($5-$10). However, it may be worth it since all you do is drop your phone in the mail (OldCellPhone.com sends you a shipping label so it doesn’t cost you anything) and wait for the check within 30 days.
I’ve never used the service, so I can’t vouch for them, but it sounds like a good deal. If anyone has used their service, I’d be interested in knowing how it worked for you.
I think I’ll try this. I have 3-4 phones sitting at home doing nothing. I don’t know how much they’re worth, but one was hardly used.
Hmm, on second thought, their idea of “old” and mine are different. They don’t take many old models.
