Heres how to get a hacked Yahoo email account back: dial yahoo direct at 1-408-349-1572, talk to a customer service rep, explain what happened, that someone hacked you and changed your info. They will tell u to email this account and you have to return the info requested, DO NOT CHANGE anything in the subject line, and presto! They compare your given info to the ORIGINAL info NOT the changed info, and within 24 hrs or less u got it back! account-security-help@cc.yahoo-inc.com

Thank you for this entertaining page. I am married to a geek, so I get to stay as ignorant as I want while still enjoying the benefits of knowledge, but even I could get a laugh at many of the comments here. I wonder what the general age group is.

I came across your site trying to find out if I could transfer all of my My Yahoo info over to the new and improved ID I was finally able to set up (I think it was not available when I first tried). Apparently, it looks like I’ll have to set up all five pages from scratch before I can delete the original account (using it as an example). Major bummer, but I’ve hated the original address so it will be worth it. I never dreamed I’d have a problem deleting the first account when I am ready. I’ll keep this site in mind, tho, just in case reality eludes me.
