I just bought a Norelco razor (the Reflex Plus 6843XL) because I don’t enjoy shaving with a blade and I must say I’m impressed. You can tell a lot of engineering went into the design, and the end result is an extremely close shave. I saw the commercials and thought it was all hype but man, it really worked well.
One thing that was hard to understand was the range of prices. They all look the same, but there were over 10 models ranging from $35 to $200. The major difference between them is the time it takes to charge and how long the charge lasts. They all have the lift and cut system, individually floating heads, self sharpening blades, pop-up trimmer, travel pouch and LED power charge indicator. They all come with a 2-year warranty and a 60-day money back guarantee so there was very little risk in buying it. That tells me they’re very confident that I’m either going to be extremely pleased with their razor or they’re very confident that I’m lazy. Thankfully it was the former.
