beanie babies

A guy sold his ex-wife’s beanie babies on eBay and was accused of being part of a beanie baby black market. He had already explained that he didn’t care about them and just wanted the money to buy tools. And beer. But that didn’t stop the crazy ebayers from e-mailing him.

  1. $860?! Damn.

  2. There are a number of things that should not be taken seriously, Beanie Babies is one of them. My feelings go out to the guy though for having to deal with people who do take them seriously.

  4. It’s kind of a chuckle to see his descent into madness. :) By the end he’s using an awful lot of capital letters.

I also found the “I don’t think my ex-wife was in the Black Market Beanie Trade..but then again, I didn’t know she was having an affair either!” comment quite humorous…in a sad sort of way. :)

Still, you can buy some pretty sweet tools for $860, so I guess the stress was worth it.

  6. I checked out his other auctions and found this one. This man is brilliant in capitalizing off of the beanie fiasco.
