I had been meaning to see this movie after hearing nothing but positive reviews and after watching it, I am in full agreement. Instead of the glamour often found in movies this one has characters that are down to earth and easy to relate with. The acting was genuine, as was the laughter it caused. One of the most amusing moments was when Ian attempts to get Toula’s attention. He walks in front of the window where she works pretending to descend a staircase. About halfway down, he runs into an old lady and she beats him to the ground with her purse. Good old-fashioned comedy at its best. The ending is fairly predictable, but the journey is entertaining. I highly recommend it.
