I’m going to the circus tonight for the first time. It has been advertised a lot on TV and with it being so close I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see what it’s like. From what I’ve seen on TV they are very entertaining, but I would imagine it will be even better in person.
I’m also looking forward to seeing some juggling. After reading the MetaFilter thread and watching some of the movies of this guy juggling, I thinking I might try for 5 clubs.
For the love of everything sacred and holy, just look out for those friggin’ clowns!

» Comment by whaleman on October 8, 2002 @ 12:27 pmThe circus was a lot of fun, but the only juggling they had was one guy during the big opening number that everyone was in. He only juggled three clubs so I wasn’t very inspired to try for five. I was most impressed with the flying trapeze and the trained horses. I also enjoyed the man flying out of a cannon.
Also, clubs, are $25 a piece and I only have three now, so I think I’ll work on some more tricks with three clubs before moving to five. Heck, I could use some work on my 5-ball pattern anyway.
