The prosecution paints a much darker picture of what was going on, saying that the medical evidence suggests that she'd had more like a quart of water. She also had her arms tied behind her back and had cuts around her mouth. Apparently the 7 year old sibling was involved with the punishment as well, and is being treated for mental trauma. This whole 'treatment' was a result of the girl's sneaking and lying behavior, which was probably brought about in part by her history of abuse before she made it to this particular home. It's tragic how the intial abuse led to this final abuse and her death. There are few things that make me more mad than child abuse; there's just no excuse for it. As an aside, what's up with the last paragraph in the article? How is that supposed to relate to the main story? Why is it there? They ought to have tied it in somehow or deleted it. It was in both articles, and made little sense in either. It's more healthy for that child to act like they were doing then what the parents,and who ever else,were doing to help that child.A lot of parents needs to learn how to use common sense and good judgment,rather than going to someone else like that for help.
