I got my confirmation email a day or two after I sent it. I have a feeling that it’s not very well organized at this point since they’re just starting out. Hopefully that doesn’t keep things from moving forward.

Argh, I still haven’t gotten my confirmation e-mail. I know their system for it is screwed up, but how do I get to participate? There must be a trick to it.

I have mixed feelings about the HotOrNot sites. I mean, it’s kind of fun to rate things, but it’s also pretty arbitrary, and how many people out there do you really think have good taste? Look at what’s on TV these days, that’s what wins in popular polls, and you won’t convince me that much of it is worth the time spent watching it. Whether something is ‘hot’ or not is a really subjective thing, and you kind of have to ask who it is you’re trying to impress.
