I don’t know if this will pan out or not, but bloggers might be able to get free music if they agree to write reviews. A few years ago I tried to figure out how to get free promo CD’s but never made much headway. I hope this works out because I would quite enjoy writing music reviews. (via illway)
My blog has received a rating of 5.2, which is neither hot nor cold. I tend towards the middle of the road in lots of things, so I’m not too surprised.

I mean, it’s kind of fun to rate things, but it’s also pretty arbitrary, and how many people out there do you really think have good taste? Look at what’s on TV these days, that’s what wins in popular polls, and you won’t convince me that much of it is worth the time spent watching it. Whether something is ‘hot’ or not is a really subjective thing, and you kind of have to ask who it is you’re trying to impress.
