I usually don’t succumb to trendy things, but I saw a link to blog hot or not on daypop and figured I could get some traffic. So, as I join the herd of followers, I have only one thing to say. Moo.
Is my Blog hot or not?
By the way, what does temperature have to do with this anyway? If I get a low score, does that mean I have a cold blog? Is it unethical to give myself a 10? What about making a form that gives me a 10 automatically instead of letting the user decide? Do sheep shrink in the rain?
I’m going to Idaho tomorrow for a good friend’s wedding, but unlike Andy Webster, my friend is well aware of what is going on. Webster showed up in a tux to what he thought was a cruise in honor of his fiance’s aunt. As he approached the boat he saw that his fiance was wearing a wedding dress. “Everyone on the ship had bells in their hands and yelled as Webster began to realize what was really going on. He had been fooled into attending his own wedding.”
Today I was informed that I am responsible for giving the wedding toast. I’d like it to be memorable, meaningful and inspiring, but it’s hard to do. I had no problem finding sites with toasts on them and I kind of like the Apache Wedding Prayer but I’m still not sure what to say.
I will most likely not have internet access until I return on Saturday so the blog will remain silent in my absence. After reading so many toasts, I might as well put some of them to good use.
May thy life be long and happy,
The cares and sorrows few;
And the many friends around thee,
Prove faithful, fond and true.
Cheers!
