Mobster John Gotti given final farewell – I didn’t realize that the mob still exists on a large scale before I read this article. I wonder if all the mobster and crime movies have glorified that lifestyle too much. I would recommend reading about prison life lest you begin to think that there are no consequences of crime.

The reason this article caught my attention is because of today’s Far Side mentions mobs. Pleasant, don’t you think?

In its more horrific method of retribution, the mob will sometimes dress victims as mimes, place them in glass boxes and let them perish slowly in full view of the public.

I went mountain biking Thursday night on the Mill Creek Pipeline trail which was a mild workout. Tonight I went ice blocking and with the exception of a slightly sore backside I enjoyed it. My date for the evening was fun to be around but I’m not sure if I’m interested in her or not. It’s too soon to say anyway, as I prefer time to get to know girls before deciding if I’m interested in them.

After the ice blocking we played a rather unique variation of pictionary. We picked words from another board game and used a large sheet of butcher paper. The unique part was that we drew with butterscotch pudding. It didn’t get particularly messy, except when I excitedly pointed at the person who correctly guessed the word I was drawing. When I pointed a bit of pudding flew into the air, but it was a fun new twist to an old game.

I have to go into work tomorrow to help us hit our deadline. I’m glad that I got to have fun with friends tonight because losing a Saturday to work isn’t much fun. Still, I realize it’s necessary to get our project completed.
