browser bonanza

There is a secret release of Opera for Linux. I’m using it and I haven’t noticed very many differences so far. It’s crashing about the same number of times and Mozilla is looking more and more stable.

Mozilla 1.0RC3 - This just gets better and better. I think I’m becoming a bigger fan of Mozilla than I am of Opera. I feel guilty somehow, or kind of useless, like someone promoting IE. If more than 85% of the internet population is using it, there’s little need to promote it. Mozilla is so popular I feel like I’m losing my elite status by using the not-so-popular browser.

Today’s Far Side made me laugh. It shows a duck and a man sitting on beds across from each other in a jail cell. The comment reads: “So then, when Old MacDonald turned his back, I took that ax and with a whack whack here and a whack whack there, I finished him off.” Kind of morbid, but funny.
