On the way home from work yesterday evening I was behind a very slow driver on the on-ramp to the freeway. He was going about 40 in a 55 and I passed him in order to get up to speed. Just as I was getting by him (at 60mph) I passed a highway patrol car which gave me a bit of a scare, but then I realized I was only going 5 over. This morning as I was taking a corner fairly quickly because of a yellow light I wanted to get through there was another office looking right back at me. At least they didn’t see the need to turn on their lights and have a chat
